Couldn't Be Happier
I fell in love with the Surat collection the first time I saw it. We are renting an apartment between homes and I thought the sleek modern (retro?) look would be perfect. I was a little worried the set would be too delicate with its spindle legs, but it feels absolutely sturdy. I was also worried how a slightly curved sofa would look against a wall, but again no issue. The curve is very slight, but if you can place them further from the walls, the back of the sofa is gorgeous. We opted for chair instead of loveseat because of space and everyone fights for the kingly, comfy chair. I have seen some comments about wrinkles in the leather and I can assure you it is nothing but normal. Spills wipe up easily. You won't be sorry!!

Love this ottoman! Perfect size and color! Love the leather! Looks great with our loveseat and chairs.
Beautiful but you must have a footrest
Quality is a 10 of the pebbled leather. I was drawn to the style and quality in comparison to the other couches I was looking at. The only drawback is, it’s not comfortable to sit in for a movie as you will find you have to slouch down a little bit plus you have to have an ottoman or low table to put your feet up on.

The lt.grey curve leather sofa is so modern and luxurious, it's soft lines and curves are perfect addition to my home.!!!
Disappointed with color
I saw this Surat leather grouping and had to have it! Bought the sofa, ottoman and chair, sight unseen, yes. I know it's risky. The sale price was a significant reduction off the list price so I jumped on it. Today I received the sofa and ottoman. I am extremely pleased with the high quality of these pieces, especially because I found them during a great sale. Macy's offered this collection in Light Gray and Dark Gray. I ordered the Light Gray, we thought the Dark Gray was too heavy looking. Let me forewarn you, the Light Gray color is not a true Gray, it is more of an oyster color, leaning towards a creamy taupe, it's not yellow at all. Turned my walls blue. It could be my wall color throwing it off but I am disappointed with the color...I love the furniture itself. it is wonderfully modern and a very expensive look. I'm a short woman and I feel comfortable on it with the exception of needing to put a pillow behind my back, I'm short... Fits Hubby too. it is what it is....

Received lower quality and defective product
We loved the style and firmness of the sofa that was on display at Macy's in Aventura Mall, FL. But the sofa we received was not the same quality. It had 2 problems: 1- It was not as firm, probably due to a different or less filling material used. 2- The stitching was defective at the top of one of the back cushions.. which was very obvious at first sight. We called customer service and they arranged for its return without hassle. This has been a very sad experience with Macy's because we actually liked this store and really wanted to have that sofa. It is hard to comprehend how can Macy's ship a product without quality check. No one in charge of quality control has called either to follow up, to understand the problem in full and take corrective action. Very disappointing indeed.
