Confused?

I am very confused about this mattress! I see reviews that say it's horrible! Some say it's the best for back support. Another person gushed about how great the sales person was without mentioning any thing about how the mattress was???? I don't understand how people can have such opposite opinions!

Very Satisfied - Extra Firm Support!!

Fantastic! My wife was having back issues, and this mattress immediately fixed her pain after one night. I waited until we slept on the mattress for 10 nights before writing this review to make sure it wasn't just a fluke, but if you need an extra firm mattress, this is a great choice! Just so we're all on the same page, this mattress is indeed very firm. If you've never been on an extra firm, your first few minutes on this mattress will be shocking at the stiff support that you'll feel. You might think it's too much, and maybe even hard, but if you're looking for extra firm support, this will get the job done.

Excellent mattress for back pain relief

This is a great mattress, especially if you have a bad back. I bought it without even trying it based on reviews (long story!). Literally, from the first night I slept on it, my sciatica pain went away. This is such an individual thing, so may be different for someone else, but I could not be happier. The mattress is very firm but not uncomfortable at all...it's just not squishy. (Had a very firm mattress years ago that was like sleeping on a board. This is not like that.) Also, I'm mostly sleeping all the way through the night for the first time in years.

Not an extra firm

I don't know how mine got rated an extra firm. Mine is too soft for an extra firm. Really disappointed.

Hard, no topper support

Extremely disappointed with this mattress. While I intentionally bought an extra firm mattress for back support, this mattress is just hard on the body. I held onto my last Serta for 9 whole years and absolutely loved it. It was pure foam and not a hybrid. This past year it finally began to sink and I knew it was time to replace it. The pictures of the layers for this model are very deceiving. I thought I would buy a hybrid for "the best of both worlds" type mattress. but this is like sleeping on the coils themselves. I feel no foam anywhere, just pressure from the coils on my back, hips, or any joint being supported by this bed. Will exchange immediately.
