This review is for the Chaddsford 15" Medium Euro Pillowtop Mattress. I tried laying on both Soft and Medium at the Macy's store, but Medium felt more comfortable to me so I bought this one. I agree that it feels firmer than the floor model, but that's because there is a break-in time of up to 90 days. I would describe this as having a good balance between firmness from the mattress itself and a cradling softness/plushness from the pillowtop portion. There is no noise or springy bounce effect when you lay on the mattress. It feels very solid, heavy, and well built. It doesn't have that "slowly sinking in" feeling you get with certain foam type mattresses and I'm glad it doesn't. I'm a side sleeper and I slept 8 hours on it my first night. It also came with a free low profile base and delivery. I'd like to thank Amy F from Macy's Lakeline Mall for her help making my purchase.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!EVER!!!

BEWARE!!! The display is much softer than the mattress delivered! MACY'S doesn't seem to want to take responsibility for the discrepancy and do an exchange! They have comprehension issues when helping the customer! YOU should be embarrassed! Your employees lie to the customers, are disrespectful, and think the customers are stupid. Your customer service is AWFUL! Gabe, emp#91211875, the supposed "supervisor," has no clue how to service a customer, and your first level employees seem to go by multiple names (Frances/Josh) so you can't track them. No wonder Macy's is having trouble staying in business. What a disgrace and joke your company has become!!!! Maybe don't outsource your customer service to other countries!

It's been six nights. The bed doesn't feel anything like the sample at the store. It's WAY firmer!! I haven't had a good nights sleep in it yet. Just the opposite. The salesman told me to wait two weeks for it to break in? I don't think it's going to improve in another week. The 14 year old mattress that I traded in was much more comfortable.

Disappointed in the service

The bed was very conforming to the body in the store but the one that was delivered seems much more firm. It has not been easy to get used to sleeping on. I have called the customer service about that and the sales tax and they were unhelpful and asked me to repeat the concern due to not listening and or comprehending. I was referred back to the Sherman Oaks store. The department store furniture manager did not return my call so I would not recommend. Finally, I was told I would receive a call the day prior to the delivery to give a time frame. I got a call as the truck was 30 minutes away on route to my home. Luckily I was there. The men who set up the bed were very professional and efficient.
