Blanket was soft and warm and heating function worked fine, but like a lot of electric blankets these days, it is plush rather than a simple polyester fabric. That makes it a tiny bit heavy, and it lays on your body like a wet blanket, rather than a cocoon. I am older and sensitive to the extra weight. I am returning it, since I found one with the older style polyester, one that’s just as warm, but weighs less and doesn’t drape as heavily.

Very lightweight and doesn’t get warm all over. Certain Areas on the coil get hotter than others . Just spend the money and get a better quality . Definitely returning

Bought this for my 91 year old Dad who is always cold. Sadly the blanket had warm spots, but not the full blanket & never met his expectations. I guess it is hit or miss with getting one which works. Blanket was returned today. Hope your experience is better than mine.
