Love it!
I purchased the dining room set in 2016 and picked it because I feel in love with the table. All other tables were too ornate with ridiculous legs that I knew would go out of style and hard to clean. I like the simplicity and the sense of modern style to it. I have a large open area for living room and dining room so I keep my leaves on the table making it perfect to keep 6 chairs at all times and also place for additional seating (like 4 more chairs in total on both extremes for big informal gatherings). The chair seating covers were darker when I got them from the white glove delivery however I like it even better since the store sample were a nice light yellowish beige while my order was dark taupe suede. I regret not getting the credenza right away because I couldn't find a piece nicer and thought I wouldn't need it but I do need it for linens, gifted china and extra serving pieces. the finish is delicate and you should use table covers or pads. Nothing is easy anymore.

We have this set for last four years and we were happy. They very comfortable! No scratches, no changing color. They just perfect!

I have had it almost 2 years and it’s still in good shape, but don’t put anything hot on the table because it will cause spots

it gets stain easily!
DON'T BUY THE EXTENDABLE INSURANCE, IT IS A JOKE!!!!! They came to fix my table and it looks worse than before the CLAIM. I contacted MACYS and they say they have nothing to do with the insurance company, I need to deal with them. Of course, the insurance company doesn't get back to me and they keep sending me e-mails saying that the CLAIM was resolved Successfully (lt is a Lie) I cannot believe Macy's sells such a bad service!!!!

Love the look
I saw this set while I was house hunting. Loved the look. I purchased it in July 2016. I noticed a sqiggily line and tried to buff it out, but had to call and request service. They came, tried to buff it out, no luck. Had to order a new one. We rarely use It I don’t think we’ve used it more than 20 times. It has marks all over. It’s something about the finish! Anyway I was in the store browsing and looked at the table and chairs and realized the seat covers on mine were a different color. Anyone else have this problem. I wish Something could be done to fix the finish. I'm stuck with it

Attractive and Sturdy
This table is beautiful! I purchased it sight unseen based on the description and pictures as well as customer reviews on Macy's website, and I am so pleased with this set. The chairs are sturdy, comfortable, and stylish. The material on the seats is polyester, according to Macy's rep on the phone, but feels like suede microfibre--very soft and a light beige color. The table, fully extended, is 109" and seats 8 comfortably. The two end chairs with arms are substantial enough to use as extra chairs in my family room. I keep them there and bring them back to the table for larger family gatherings. Everything appears to be made of solid wood with the exception of the table top, which is veneer. Because of all the reviews about it scratching easily, I purchased the table pad that the Macy's rep recommended. It is on backorder for a few weeks, so haven't seen that yet. I keep the table fully extended with the two extension pieces and use it every day. It is sturdy, very solid feeling. You can't go wrong with this purchase. Excellent delivery service with the white glove treatment. Loved it!

finish rubbed off and claim refused
My dinning table finish on the top got rubbed off. I have 5 years worry free warranty but despite multiple follow-ups and filing disputes, company refused to replace the product. Service provided by warranty company is very customer unfriendly.

Perfect Table
If you are looking to modernize your dining room with a high quality, well-made table without making yourself poor then buy this table. It is gorgeous. We donated our set bought in 1979 and replaced it with this table and 6 chairs. It made the room come alive and so much more modern. We cannot wait to have our first dinner party and see everyone's face when they see this set. We are very happy we got it, especially with the quality we always find at Macy's.
