CLOSEOUT! Queen Cotton Pique Bedskirt
Product Details
Web ID: 1908284very nice
Super clean lines and easy to put on the bed. it is true that the part that goes over the mattress is thin, but it doesn't matter for the bed skirt. Very nice for the price.
Flimsy fabric under mattress
I really liked the appearance of this bedskirt. It came a little wrinkled. When I went to go and iron it, I found that the fabric that goes under the mattress is completely different from the fabric of the bedskirt. It is a flimsy, paper feeling fabric. Unfortunately, the tip of my iron accidentally touched this part and it completely disintegrated on contact, causing a large hole on the edge where the bedskirt fabric meets the flimsy fabric. This happened 2 other times while I was ironing, it has basically ruined now. Very disappointing. Would have been perfect if the fabric that goes under the mattress was the same fabric as the bedskirt. I do not recommend this product.
Poorly Made
Unfortunately the quality of this bedskirt is poor. The netting appears to just be glued onto skirt portion which comes apart as you take it out of package. I have tried two different skirts and both arrived with netting already separating from pique skirt portion. Very disappointing.
Good quality fabric
I am pleased that this fabric is not soo thin as many other bedskirts. It is more opaque...the way I like it and the pleats are nicer than the ruffle design, in my opinion. The size is about 1 inch too long for my Queen size bed, but I just folded it in a tiny bit and it is not noticeable. Yes, the fabric that goes under the mattress, that holds the bedskirt fabric in place, is flimsy, but that is expected. It seems sturdy enough to function well, but it is going to be sensitive to the heat of the iron.
It’s a lovely bedskirt
I like it a lot! It’s soft and looks nice but I ordered an off white and it looks about as white as paper. It’s easy to get stains out of also!
Skirt fabric is a nice heavy weight but...
the center fabric is a cheap icky plastic. I was pressing the skirt with a warm iron and barely touched it. The plastic fabric melted at the seam immediately. I had to glue the seam together. My old bedskirt had a nice sturdy, breathable muslin fabric in the center. I would gladly pay a few more dollars for better quality material.
Nice looking in chalk
I bought this bed skirt in the "chalk" color. It is nice looking in person and meets my needs. Quality appears to be good as well.
Classic bedskirt
Very pleased with this quality bed skirt. The fabric is heavier than most so it will hold its shape and lay smoother down the sides. You cannot see through this fabric. It has a very small diamond pattern which is interesting, and pairs well with quilt design.
