Shame on Macys

Every time I come on here and see that Macys is still selling this couch, I get so angry. I bought this couch less than a year ago and 2 months into it, it looked like I bought it used from a thrift shop from a family of 5 with 4 dogs. Meanwhile I live alone and have no dogs. The cushions are deformed, the seems are coming undone, the piling is outrageous and the arms wobble. But I can't use the warranty I paid the extra money for?1? This is crazy. Macys should be ashamed of themselves for selling this couch and not allowing us to use our warranty. Ive bought couches for less that have lasted way longer than this. It looks like Ive had it for 15 years but its less than a year old. I hope CLOSEOUT means that they are discontinuing it because it would be terrible for anyone else to waste their hard earned money on this. Everyone that bought this couch from Macys should be refunded or given store credit. Clearly Im not the only one that has these issues.

Avoid this sectional. On closeout for a reason

We bought this sofa with high expectations. This was the most expensive sofa we’ve ever purchased. Such a disappointment from Macy’s. Within 3 months we noticed the fabric on one cushion was pilling and the springs were popping. Now all the fabric is pilling and can’t wait to replace it. Even with the extended warranty we were told it doesn’t cover wear and tear. It is a very nice looking sofa in the showroom but now barely a year later it looks like something that was bought at a discount store. We have bought many nice pieces of furniture from Macy’s but sadly this wad probably our last.

So disappointed in the quality

This couch is beautiful and cozy, and I really wanted it to last considering how much it cost. Unfortunately, I've only had it for 5 months, and the cushions have already worn down. The cushion sags on the side when I lie down, causing me to sink down to the bottom of the couch. Beware: the cushions are not covered under the manufacturer's warranty, so unless you plan on barely using the sofa, I'd avoid purchasing this.

I absolutely love this couch. I got the left facing 4 piece sectional with an added seat and chose my fabric color from the swatches in the store. I chose the same fabric type (Contessa) as shown, but went with a lighter gray. I've had the couch now for about 10 months and it's held up really well; still super plush and comfortable and the fabric held up great. I fall asleep on it all the time because it's so comfortable and the seats are so deep. I searched around all the furniture stores in my area and looked online for months and never found a couch I liked better than this one. It's amazing.

Don’t do it

The couch is aesthetically pleasing, but we’ve only had it for exactly one month and the cushions are sagging + one is ripped at the seam. Extremely disappointed in the quality. It’s comfortable for now, but it’s clearly not going to last.

Best couch purchase ever!

Mariyah sectional is everything we hoped for and more! We discovered this sectional at one of the Macy's showrooms and fell in love with the style and comfort of this sectional. We happened to stumble upon it during the Memorial Weekend Sale and were sold it with the sale price too. We went with the 4pc set with the Chaise on the left. We ordered it online and did the white glove delivery and the couch arrived within 2 weeks. The delivery service was excellent as well. We live out in the mountains and they had no issues delivering to us or unloading the couch. They delivery guys walked around our house to see the options for how to bring the couch in and found the best solution. Everything was unpacked and put together within 30-45 minutes. We have now had the couch for a month and absolutely love it! No complaints so far. The color is a beautiful gray and even with our dog we do not notice hair or lint too much. It is so comfortable as well and we have had guest sleep on it comfortably!

Disappointed with the quality of this item. I’ve been purchasing fine pieces of furniture from Macy’s for almost 30 years - much of which is still beautiful and still in use. This sectional is not. Within 6 months of having it delivered, I wish I had chosen something else. The cushions are unusually worn out and the fabric is pilling like mad. After several attempts, I finally got Macy’s customer service to respond and they sent over somebody to assess the piece. He told me what poor quality the piece was, but then Macy’s refused to stand behind the piece. They completely ghosted me after saying that this is not covered under their warranty. Now the sofa is a year and change old, and is an embarrassment in my home. Pieces never stay in one straight line due to the connectors being off kilter. The feeling for the cushions is inferior, and the outer fabric is cheap. I really wanted to love this piece.
