The Best Blanket on the Planet

I bought this blanket 15 years ago and it is the best. It serves as both a blanket and a bedspread. I had a feeling it would not last forever (nothing does) so I bought a replacement for that time unless I go first. I frequently try to replace one item with the same exact item, but most often it is no longer made. This one was. Linus" (Charles Schulz "Peanuts" character) has no monopoly on loving blankets !

Nice but sizing is off

Beautifully woven, soft, warm blanket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Lauren Ralph Lauren Classic Weave Bed Blanket in King size in navy blue. It is so soft and warm. It looks beautiful on the bed and can function like a bedspread. It is a very neat and classic look. The quality is excellent. I am happy that I can always rely on Bloomingdale's for top quality items. I would prefer to see items in a store in order to feel the fabric, but given the Pandemic, I have counted on Bloomingdale's Online to order the items I need. Every order I have placed in 2020 and 2021 with Bloomingdale's has been perfect. The shipping was very quick and it arrived in perfect condition.

Excessive Lint

The lint that is coming off this blanket - in the dryer - even after 2 washings is so excessive it filled a gallon ziplog bag. Won’t be putting it on my bed or sleeping with it. It’s going back - with the bag to prove it.

The Perfect Lightweight Blanket

This is the perfect blanket for warmer weather or to use under a duvet. The fabric has “body”, but it’s soft. Great quality that will last for many years.
