Okay but battery sucks.

Great machine but very disappointed in battery life. Why different modes. Who uses a vacuum a vacuum in low mode. I’m returning.

Solid Brand with Some Issues

I have tried several different brands of “stick” vacuums and always go back to Dyson. Having said that, I bought this one when it was on sale and have had it about a month. I have a large Golden Retriever so I need a vacuum that can handle a twice a day workout. So far so good. It’s a Dyson and it works as expected. Here is where I have some issues, it’s quite a bit heavier than my previous one. Not happy about that. It says the battery lasts an hour. It can, if you keep it on the lowest setting. So, there’s that and I have had it run out while still needing it to finish the job. The latch to empty the bin, if you can imagine, works like a slide trombone. I get the concept of trying to push the hair and dirt out and into the trash, but since the hair is so light and thin it does get past the gasket and doesn’t completely empty out. It does come with accessories and again, it’s a Dyson, in other words, a well-built vacuum. Overpriced? Of course. But it does surpass the Sharks and even the Hoovers I’ve owned.

My vacuum came with the direct drive motor head and not the torque drive Therefore on hardwood it’s not that good wit bigger particles.

Good product

Although I bought a restored model I am very happy with it. What I am unhappy about is I chose the wrong. model. The one I chose doesn’t allow me to remove the battery. I did not know the difference as I looked on the Dyson website and would like that site to give a little bit more information or easier to see the difference. Thank you.

Great Vacuum

This vacuum is so light yet super powerful. It's actually fun to use!

Just ok

It’s ok it top heavy hard on my hand doesn’t stay changed long enough

I purchased this product about a month and a half ago. The suction is excellent and I don''t have to recharge it often because the battery lasts a long time. The issue is emptying out the cylinder when it is full. You have to disconnect the long plastic hose from the entire top of the vacuum. Emptying out the filtration cylinder is difficult and very inconvenient. You have to clean most of the debris out by hand because it gets stuck in the cylinder. This is what I do not like about this vacuum. I owned another Dyson vacuum and it did not need to be emptied out with such difficulty. Unsure if I will be returning it due to the inconvenience of emptying out the debris.

Worth the price.

I have been very pleased with this purchase. The vacuum is exceptionally versatile and the attachments allow me to use just about anywhere I need it. A bit steep on price but I'd say so far, it is worth it.
