I decided to return the stir-fry wok right after the first time I tried it out. the word it used in ads was "heavenly", but I did not feel that way. After I stir fried some fish, the bottom turned tarry color and became sticky and coated with stuff (see picture). It can not be used at as a stir-fry whatsoever, and the ads was misleading. I called the customer service twice, with one time where I was put on hold for one hour approximately and the other time being hung up on me unexpectedly. I was doubt if there would be a rep talking to me at all.

OK, but heavy and rough--unfinished.
Good wok for cooking but it is unfinished--the edges are rough on both of the handles, not rounded and smoothed, so could cut one's hand if not careful. Woke does not have a lip which is a plus and a minus--food slips out easily when intended, and not intended. It is also quite heavy and becomes hard to handle when loaded, plus the second handle does get hot. I have a 12 inch Calphon hard anodized wok as well as a 14-inch Cuisinart wok. The 14-inch Cuisinart has become my goto wok because this one is so heavy when loaded, and the Cuisinart is even larger without the weight. The cooking characteristics are different--this is more slopped, the Cuisinart flat-bottomed. Know its limitations and it'll be fine.
Great wok that can be used for many dishes
This wok is great not only as a wok, but as a large pan for many items with lots of veggies and sauces, which I love to make. Calphalon quality I love and convenience that's hard to beat!

was looking for a wok for my induction and this fits the bill the flat bottom is perfect on any induction zone

We use it almost everyday and love it! Tried many coated woks that wore out too quickly.
Just what I needed
Looked a long time for a stir fry pan for my new induction cook top . Finally found this wok with a flat bottom - works great.. Perfect size - big enough to adequately "stir-fry". Stays nice and shiny too. The only drawback is it didn't come with a matching lid.
great wok
I bought this in one of the Macy's stores in San Diego last year and had been using it since then. Being Asian I do a lot of cooking using a wok and this is so far one of the best ones I have ever used. I love it!
