Best steak pan ever

I've been using this pan for many years. I bought it at Marshall Field's before it was Macy's. I make NY steak on it and it's perfect for 2 steaks. The pan is till as good as new.

Best toasted sandwiches

We LOVE this panini press. 1st time purchasing any panini press and did my research. The press is nice and heavy and the handle doesn't get hot. We have 3 kids and we all love our sandwiches toasted. Now we don't annoy impatient people at the lines of Togo's, etc., when we order 5 sandwiches all toasted (lol). Works incredibly fast and heats evenly. The grill marks are just like in the restaurants we've eaten at. Love the convenience of toasted sandwiches at home. Also, saving so much money and I didn't really think about that before purchasing. We've passed on Starbuck's a few times already so that we can press our own sandwiches with our own bread type. Sourdough, Wheat, French roll...I bet this makes great pressed French toast, haven't tried it yet tho. Also like that I don't need to use butter for the grill marks...but who doesn't like a little butter now and then. :)

Winner For Sure

This is the best grill with press pan ever! I had looked at it several times, but kept thinking the price was too much for me. I finally went ahead and purchased it. It is OUTSTANDING! I am very satisfied with this great pan. highly recommend it.

Perfection

Perfection. I have wanted to add this type of pan to my collection for ages, and now, it has become my go-to pan. Have enjoyed cooking hamburgers, bacon, sausages, bacon, veggies, and sandwiches. Even heat and a dream to clean and store. The press is magic. Highly recommend both this pan and brand. Thanks so much for having this product available to Macy's customers.

Not the best panini press

I purchased this Calphalon pan so I could do paninis on the stove, rather than getting an electric one, which would take up much more room to store. It will take some experimenting. The lid is extremely heavy, so it really squishes down your sandwich - you could not use it with regular bread. Also, since the lid is not grooved like the bottom, you don't get the press marks on the top of your sandwich. The second time I used it, I turned the sandwich over for a while, so both sides would cook like a panini! It is nice that the bottom is nonstick (but the top is not). Very easy to clean. I'll keep trying to learn - no instructions included - how long to have it cook to get the desired result, and the insides of the sandwich to get hot. Perhaps I should have purchased an electric version?
