I usually am happy with my Clinique eye shadow purchases. However, this time I selected the shade "Seashell pink, fawn satin." The shade of "Seashell pink" is a dull gray. How disappointing. Clinique, please get your act together. Describe shades correctly.

great shadow - disappointing product size
I love the strawberry fudge eye shadow duo, having received and used a sample in one of the bonus offer packs I've received. Based on the sample, I decided to purchase a "full size" product. However, the product weight listed on the website is 3.4 g and the product I received in my order was only 1.7 g - HALF the advertised size!! I do not feel this is good value for money and I also feel deceived. :-(

No shimmer - not sure why in the title.
In the description, it refers to "shimmer" so i assumed it would not be "flat" eye shadow. Unfortunately there is no shimmer at all for Seashell pink/fawn satin. I had purchased another one that had lots of shimmer (starlight/starbright). Very confusing.

Strawberry fudge is a beautiful color!
I have never used Clinique eye shadow before and I needed some new shadow. Ordered online vs purchasing in store so I didn't get a chance to see the colours in person. I ordered strawberry fudge - I was worried the pink would be too pink for the lid, but the color is just gorgeous! I don't wear eye shadow every day (maybe 3-4 days a week) but I am very happy with this shadow. Even without a primer it has good staying power and I have had some sweaty mid-day workouts to really test it out. I don't like heavy eye shadow so I apply it light but it still looked beautiful and made my eyes pop. I will likely get another color too, they are just so cute, compact and beautiful.

We have a winner!
I'm one of the people disappointed in the chubby stick replacement. On a whim, I decided to try the day into date shadow duo and it's a definite winner. I used primer, which I have to use under any shadow, including the beloved chubbies, and the shadows lasted all day and into the evening. So pretty and easy to put on with a brush. I hope Clinique doesn't discontinue these too, now that I've discovered I'm a powder shadow girl again.

Love it!
I purchases the Twilight Mauve/Brandied Plum Shimmer. I'm a cool toned girly and these two shades really made my grey eyes pop! The coverage is very sheer so I had to build it up but I am happy with the results. This is my every day go to eyeshadow.

Great for hazel eyes!
Blackberry Frost is the absolute best for hazel eyes. I wear it almost everyday and get compliments all the time about my eyes. The color stays on all day for me, from 7 am to 9 pm and looks great!

Too Shimmery
I have been waiting for the new shadows to debut and now that they have I won't even buy one. I have asked repeatedly for the matte shadows to return for older people like me. The shimmery ones only accent my wrinkles. Now I am going to have to find a new manufacturer of the type of shadow I will wear.
