Design Flaw Prevents Use

I purchased this shoe for a relative, who needed an open, comfortable shoe like this. However, as pointed out by other reviewers, the back of the shoe has a defective design. The velcro on the strap will not reach the mating velcro on the heel, unless you have very narrow ankles. Also, the local cobbler said he would not be able to correct the problem by adding length to the velcro.

Great shoe

I am extremely happy with these shoes. They are super comfortable and can wear for long hours, which is difficult with some shoes. The straps are perfect for me.

Amanda

I bought these Amanda sandals in medium width. Very cute sandals, but the heel width was just too wide and foot slipped side to side. Unfortunately had to return them and waiting for my refund.

The sandals are very cute but in my opinion the straps are not placed well. They did not fit my foot. I have other sandals that have velcro adjustable straps and have no issues at all.

Clarks problems strike again.

Unfortunately had to return. Like other reviewers, the straps around the top of the foot are way too snug. The bottom strap is not adjustable but it was way too long. I wish these worked for me, as they are very soft & comfortable.

Bad fit

The strap was very short and wouldn’t attach to the Velcro on the other side at all. I have a high instep but have never encountered this before.

Great shoes, with one modification

I really like the style, and Clarks are always comfortable, but the strap needed more velcro. I have high arches and I couldn't close the shoe as received. I had to buy extra velcro and sew it on the strap so I could wear the show. Now they fit perfectly and are comfy and supportive.
