Defective shoe

Unfortunately, the knot on the button of the right shoe unraveled on the first day of wear, and it will not stay tied. Defective upon receipt.

Comfortable from day one.

Very comfortable shoe. I read the reviews and this helped in choosing this Clark shoe. I ordered it in black size 6. I wore it several hours the first day and now find it is comfortable for all day wear. I do recommend the purchase of this shoe.

shoes run small

i ordered my regular size of 5 1/2 but after wearing twice I realize I cannot wear these as my toe rubs on front of shoe. bought size 6 in and they were too big. so now i am on to looking for another shoe that would fit better- sadly

Customer Service

I have been a customer of Macys when it was Famous Barr. The shoes are great but your customer service needs help. Your associate was so rude and can’t believe when he stuck his hand in my face to tell me to wait. I am an adult and do not appreciate being treated this way. Please train your people because more and more are leaving Macys.

Comfortable style

Purchased these in size 8 wide. The wide gave me extra room in the toe bed but I suspect I could have ordered 8 medium and they would have felt fine too. With these shoes I wear thin dress socks that’s why I feel 8 M would have been fine. I have worn this style Clarks far a few years now and really like the way they fit and look. I will say I notice Clarks can feel they narrower and slightly smaller. If you are in-between sizes go up a half size but not necessarily both half size and width.
