Not Your Dad's Clarks Anymore

Shoes do not provide support (not even adequate). Within 1-2 hours of wearing them, my feet are in pain. They also do not breath well. I loved Clark's shoes in the 90s and the early 2000s. Quality has decreased significantly since then.

Great design, poor quality “tan” leather

Bought at a Clarks store on a 2/99.00 sale. Great design and comfortable. I got them home and when I laced them up, I seen the tan color was coming off them where the laces were. I then realized that the “tan” leather was simply painted on and not a nicely dyed leather. I tried to exchange them for the beeswax leather, but the store didn’t have my size and would not have a lot sent to my house, so I had to just return the shoes. I like Clark’s overall, but this was a poor experience. Wish I could have exchanged for the waxed ones. I should have been able to have them ordered from the store for the sale price I got them at.

Gorgeous leather, simple styling, a winner!

In the day and age of so many other brands trying to infuse useless tech into their shoes Clark’s keeps it simple with no gimmicks. Great style and design that can be dressed up or down. Super grippy outsole will provide sure footing and the leather is thick, supple and buttery soft straight out of the box. It’s been a while since I’ve purchase a pair of shoes that are actually made with real leather. They smell delicious! I wear size men’s US 13 2E and these fit perfect! I’ll be ordering the other colors shortly.
