Not as Described

The picture shows a textured, pebbled finish on the leather. What came was smooth, oil-tanned finish. Since the texture was the main reason I selected, it will go back. You would think someone at Macy's would read the reviews and update the picture.

WRONG BOOT, Bad Service,

Macy's sent us the WRONG Boots. I called CService, spoke to Loy, we still do not have correct Boots. Please get us the the Boots we ordered. I also need a Call Tag to return UPS the wrong Boots. I have NO printer, I to Loy that.

Great Value & Quality (Comfort abounds)

So I purchased this shoe a week ago (Feb.1st) and here are my findings. (1) Size 10.5 [Med] - Fits perfectly, true to size (2) Comfort - Extremely comfortable, soft inside and great protection (3) Looks - Appearance is just classy. Goes well with jeans, dress or slacks (4) Delivery - Received in 3 days regular delivery, no need to pay extra. Overall, Clarks has it's super customers that knows their product well. You get great quality for your money. 5 *****'s all around!! Clark's customer fi years!!

Clarks boots are larger than same size shoes

These boots are too large for 10.5 medium. I bought 10.5 medium Clarks shoes earlier this year and they fit perfectly. These boots arrived when we had snow and I had thick socks on and they fit OK, but after the snow was gone and wearing these in rain with regular socks they are just too big. And I’ve unfortunately already worn them and can’t exchange. Boots are good otherwise but I will have to find a good home for them because my feet can’t deal with the lack of fit. Be advised before you buy.

boots do not breathe

In spite of Clark’s website claim that all of their waterproof boots are breathable https://www.clarks.com/en-us/waterproof/comfort-in-any-weather , these boots are marked “impermeable.” To add insult to injury, neither the the tongue nor the back is padded, unlike the similar boots (goretex) that I purchased several years ago. I have ordered pads, which I hope will correct the latter deficiency.

Replacing an 11-year old similar Clark chucka pair

If these wear like my last pair, I’ll probably be buried in them. Clark chuckas wear like iron. Love them.
