Clark's Red Platform Sandals

I love theses Clark's platform sandals. I'm 5'1" and wearing comfortable platforms with my slacks gives me a longer looking leg, which is much needed. The sandals are so cute, I get lots of compliments. I can wear them all day starting Day 1 with no break-in time needed. They last really well too. Last year's version is still going strong. This year I really wanted to add red ones and these are a perfect neutral red. My only reason for the 4-star is that the Velcro strip has the sticky side facing out so it catches the hem of my pants and will damage the hem if I'm not careful. If Clark's would switch that up I would give a 5+ rating. I really love these shoes!

Not nearly as comfortable as I thought

In store they were comfortable. Once I started walking on them I had to place 3 heel patches on top of each other to tolerante the heel band that was cutting into my skin. Than I had to put bandages on the upper parts of my feet where the shoe touched the skin by my toes. I also placed extra foot petals inside the shoe since my feet kept sliding back and forth. This is now the 2nd pair of Clarks I bought that are leaving me with pain and blisters.

Beautiful

Beautiful red sandals! Comfortable feel when walking but the lining under my feet feels kinda weird not sure why. I ordered the green but for some reason the green feels a little tighter. I'll try to walk with them around the house to see if they will relax a little or they will stay tight.
