Happy with this purchase

I bought this tray in white over a year ago and have been happy with it. As stated in the description, the tray does NOT come with a placemat, it is a solid color. I bought a placemat to go with mine and it looks great.

Great Tray

This is an excellent tray! Just what we needed. The last reviewer must have misunderstood that the black tray in one of the photos was pictured with a placemat in it and so was expecting a different bottom. To be clear, the bottom of the black is solid black and the bottom of the white is solid white. The picture that has the design on the bottom of the black has the Chilewich Boucle placemat pictured in the tray (we own these as well). I'm very happy with this purchase!

Not what I expected

I ordered the tray in black. I was particularly interested in the black/white pattern that is shown in the picture as the base of the tray. However, when I received the shipment, the tray was all black and did not have the pattern that I was hoping for. I will be returning this tray as it is not as pictured. The tray in itself is a great size but difficult to hold. The 'hand holds' feel uncomfortable.
