Easy to use warming plate

Got a chance to use this a few times, we had some birthdays with family. The unit itself it easy to use, just plug in and set the temp. The temp doesn't take too long and its ready to use within minutes. Its large enough space to set a couple dishes on. The plate itself is hot but not too hot, but you still need to be careful handling it after its off and while its in use. Its a good product ill continue to use !

Not practical

Even though this is a great theory, it just is not practical for me. For as much space as it takes up, it just isn't that needed. I could see using it for entertaining, but If you don't do a lot of that, it's a waste of space.

Very large and useful hot plate

I really like this hot plate! We went camping and used it to keep the food that we had cooked warm because we didn't have a whole lot of extra cooking space. This thing is so handy, we didn't have to try to rotate things through the microwave, but we were just able to put them on the hot plate and leave them And when we needed it it was like it just came out of the oven. This product is excellent and I was very happy with how well it performed and how safe it is.

Keeps Hot Food Hot!

I absolutely love that this product meets my expectation of keeping my hot foods hot. The Chefman Electric Glass Hot Plate works to protection. With it's temperature controlled setting features, it gives me the option of either high or low assuring my foods will not burn. I used it for quite a few occasions such as graduation events, hosting small gatherings and even my niece's baby shower. This product is light weight and very durable. The perfect size for a full size aluminium lasagna pan and also small to medium bakeware dishes. It doesn't take up a lot of space like chafing dishes do, yet does by far a greater job. I will be purchasing more, as it also makes for a perfect gift too.

Great Purchase for the Family Gatherings!

This glass top hot plate is a great addition to your family's next gathering! It works really well to keep food hot so that you can serve your entire meal together. The only reason I gave this a 4 star review is because I don't have any other use for it other than when I'm making a full meal.

Keeps food warm for hours

The Chefman Compact Glass Warming tray is useful for keeping cooked food warm until someone eats it. The tray is compact and not the full-sized one but it's a decent size to put three dishes on it. I use this tray to place lunch or dinner that I make for my parents so they can eat it when they come home or if they late getting home. This is like a buffet-style warming tray that has handles so you can transport it to any part of the house. The glass plate is very hot so you have to be careful and use a metal plate or dish to conduct heat more or a heat-safe dish. This also has a plug for electricity and doesn't run on batteries. There is a knob on the side for low, medium, and high heat so you can pick which temperature you desire. The temperature for the low is 104 degrees F, Medium heat is 176 degrees F, and High is 278 degrees F. You can not use this warming try to cook on at all, this is only for keeping cooked hot foods warm for a couple of hours until eaten. I think this warming tray will be useful for days that need to keep the food warm and also for holidays too to keep side dishes warm. Overall, I really like this warming tray and I don't notice anything wrong with it and is useful for keeping food warm and not using the stove to keep it warm because it can burn. I can easily keep an eye out when I think its time to turn it off too. I would buy this again but for the fuller size so I can place more food for the Holidays. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to keep their food warm if they can't eat it right away.

No microwave required, and perfect texture!

While I haven't had any get togethers recently, the Chefman Compact Glasstop Warming Tray is a perfect kitchen accessory. It keeps everything that needs to stay warm just the right temperature! I prepare more complicated meals at least once a week. These meals have two or three components, and they don't always finish cooking at the same time. I was able to my side of roasted veggies on the warmer to keep them just right while I finished up my sweet potatoes and baked fish. I didn't have to pop anything in the microwave, which usually impacts flavor or texture. I know I'll use this for dinner parties in the future, but it's also a great addition for just my family of four.
