Heavier than I thought

These earrings were something of a surprise. I expected the dangling silver/gold filigree portion to be a light and rather "lacy" metal feel/effect. Instead, the filigree portion is heavier (both in feel and in weight) and thicker, almost like a disc about the size of a wide dime. Overall, these were a heavier, larger, and more substantial earring than I thought they would be from the photos. They aren't heavy enough to be uncomfortable, but they're not light in feel.
