Nice looking but not as efficient as it should be

It’s a classy and classic design but the kettle only boils if you fill to cover the heating element. It works most consistently if you fill to the 4 cups like. It doesn’t boil at the minimum setting, which is a shame as it would be good not to waste water when all I need is the two cups amount. I wait for it to cool then use for plants. Still, it is annoying and it should work at all available fill lines.

Great kettle but leaks

I really love this kettle. I like it is glass not plastic, and I like design. It boils water very quickly. However, it leaks from one side on the bottom. One easily can be burnt every time pouring boiled water from it. I stepped aside to avoid burning,and every single time spilled got spilled all around on the floor or on the table. I returned one kettle for this reason, and ordered another one. It all was happening again with my second kettle. Still, I am trying to give it one more, final try, and ordering it for the third time. I hope those two were just defective, and there’s no completely design issue. I really want to give one more chance to it.
