Beautiful but gold hard to see

I ordered this watch online along with the silver and rose gold two tone so I could try on and compare at home. I wanted to love this because I felt the two tone yellow gold would be the most versatile as I wear both sterling silver and yellow gold jewelry. However, I felt like you could barely see the yellow gold, it seemed muted and almost blended in with the silver. I chose the rose gold because the contrast was more of the look I wanted. I would definitely see this watch in person first before deciding, because it wasn't the silver/gold contrast I was expecting and have had with two tone watches before.
