Classy watch-but Macy's packing was disappointing

I am an avid online Macy's shopper and have always been satisfied with their packaging and the products that have been delivered. I was very excited when I purchased this watch and literally watched the shipment process as I couldn't wait to receive it. It arrived on the promised date, but, how anticlimactic it was to open the box and find this watch. Firstly, the outside cardboard case looked old and worn as if it has been sitting in a dark corner for many years! The watch itself had no scratches on it, but it looked like it was handled-perhaps was on display? I was disappointed because for this price, I expected a product that looked factory new. If not for the ongoing pandemic, I would ask the store to replace with a better handled product! The watch is even nicer in person, has some weight to it, and just looks great. Good job Bulova with this lovely design (5 stars); Poor show Macy's (0 stars).
