Order canceled but Macy's doesn't seem to know it

Macy's cancelled my order two days after I got the confirmation email because they said the item was no longer in stock. Not sure why they don't know how many of an item they have, or why they're emailing me to ask for a review of an item they couldn't get to me. I think they sold the luggage at a much lower price than they meant to and then canceled orders rather than honoring the sale price.
