[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Glycerins. I’ve been wearing them for decades and they never fail me. I don’t even have to wear them in.

Best Glycerin version for me so far
I'm 5'2", 55kg-60kg (depending on availability of tasty snacks) and usually average around 12kms of walking on a week day and up to 30kms of walking a day on the weekends. Terrain varies over road/pavement, well maintained trails, and sand. I am a consistent US7 W in medium width. I've worn Ghosts and Glycerins and both have been consistently great for my needs. This iteration of the Glycerins have by far been my favourite. And when I say they've proven to be my favourite, I mean to to point where I bought several pairs (for both me and my partner) whenever they went on sale just in case. I've had plantar fasciitis and after to a particularly competitive Steptember and intense sushi/sashimi exploration in Japan, I have had Achilles tendonitis. The Glycerin 20s were a.) the only shoe that supported my ankle and feet to be able to do so many kms in the first place, and b.) the only shoe that helped me during the recovery journey. The ankle support on the shoe is just right for my thin ankles - they are at the right height not to aggravate the tendonitis but also give me enough support so I don't roll them, particularly when on trails. Aside from the fantastic cushioning and the sturdiness of the shoe in general, I also have to mention that the shoe laces on this version are great - they can actually be tensioned well and don't slip and come undone every two seconds. I only wish that the laces provided were a little bit longer as they always seem to be stingily short on the 7s. The tongue is also Goldilocks on this version for me - not to thick that it dug in or was awkward to adjust, not to short that it kept slipping down when in motion. If there were still available colour ways in my size available, I doubt I'd risk buying another shoe but this one. Am hoping that the latest version of the Glycerins can live up to my experience with the Glycerin 20s.
