Very fast at a great price

Awesome trainer, very fast and responsive, I put a good time in on my usual 10km route on the first outing, unfortunately the fit was just not right for me, and had to return after the fourth run when they started to rub. I would definitely look at getting another pair in a different width if available.

Comfortable from day one.

This is my 4th pair of the Brooks Ghost models. I love them. They are as comfortable as an old friend the first time you slip them on.

Like Walking on Clouds

I bought these shoes before a trip to Japan (knew I was going to walk 100+ miles over 2 weeks) and they single-handedly saved my feet. It honestly felt like I was walking on 2 tiny clouds, even when I was breaking them in. Very happy I bought these and will be buying more in the future.

Ghosted

I'm disappointed with the latest version of the Ghost. The Ghost has been my go-to shoe for about five years, ever since the Defiant was discontinued. In the newest version, the toe box and heel feel tighter than in previous versions of the Ghost. Also, not a fan of the shorter shoe laces. Somewhere between the new length and the length of the Ghost 15 would have been better.

The Best!

I love the Ghost 16. Even though I've run in other shoes, The Ghost has continued to be the main shoe in my rotation for years.

These are not as comfortable as the Ghost Max 2 that I previously had. Also, the heel lip of the left shoe doesn’t have as much cushion in it as the right shoe and has given me blisters on my Achilles tendon area. I think this is a problem in quality control. I’ve had to bend that heel lip backwards to keep it from digging in.

Comfortable and smooth

Well cushioned, and breathable. The 16 is a step back in some ways but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. These seem more like the Ghosts of a few years ago rather than the last couple of years.

Inconsistent Sizing

Brooks is the only running shoe I've purchased over the last ten years. I usually purchase the Adrenaline GTS, but occasionally I'll purchase another type for various reasons. I recently purchased the Ghost, size 10.5, which is the my normal size. However, the Ghost is extremely small for a standard 10.5 shoe. My toes are touching the end of the shoe, so I'm concerned about how it will impact my stride. I'll never run in these but will use them instead for around town shoes, assuming they will break-in over time. The shoe seems well built, but I'm very disappointed with the inconsistent sizing between product lines.
