UPGRADE TO THIS!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was conflicted between the Bambino and the Bambino plus and went for this one because I don't know how to froth milk. It is 100% worth the upgrade. Not only is it incredibly easy to use but it makes DELICIOUS coffee.

Not very good espresso, weak machine

Machine is weak. I descale it once a month and it still has clogged up. It made bad espresso before the clog as well.

Everything I could want for someone getting into making espressos.

I love my Breville Bambino Plus but the drip tray is quite small. A larger drip tray would be nice.

Love this machine

I've had this just under a year and it works great. Makes lovely expresso and the frother works well too. Just make sure that you clean and flush it well immediately after each use. Would buy again.

Frustrating

We bought the Sage Bambino Plus three weeks ago. This is a handsome machine and I'm sure it is effective and efficient, but we simply cannot get the hang of making espresso with it. We love coffee but we are not the fanatics which we would need to be to put up with the mess of the grounds and the inconsistency of tamping, so we have been using ese coffee pods in the machine. The resulting drink is not as good as from the freshly ground coffee we obtained on one isolated occasion, but the speed and convenience is worth it. We are disappointed but we don't blame the Sage Bambino Plus.

Love it.

Great product! Love the fact that you can either press a button and let the machine do it for you, or you can dial things in manually to experiment with timings and volumes of coffee etc. It makes great coffee and we are very pleased with it.
