Terriby cheap machine. Not up to Breville standards.
I returned the Bambino; it was cheaply made and didn't live up to what I expect from a Breville machine. I instead got the Barista Express for my summer home (a model I already have at my main residence) and am delighted with it. I had hoped for a smaller machine without built in grinder, as I have a separate Breville burr grinder, but the Bambino was not it. Just not what Breville should be putting its name on.

Love my Bambino!
Love my Bambino! It took a bit of experimenting with coffee variety and grind size but now I consistently get a great cup of coffee I really like that it doesn't take up a lot of room on the counter. The machine arrived less than a week after I ordered it on-line. I would definitely recommend this machine to a friend.

Amazing machine at an amazing price
I’ve had this for about a month and genuinely use it every morning that I’m able to. I’m so glad I purchased this when I did!! Very easy to use. HOWEVER! The dual wall portafilter basket gets clogged a lot for me….. I’m not sure how to prevent this/clean it effectively to prevent this from happening so often. I plan on investing in a good coffee grinder so I’m able to transition into the single walled basket. Despite the clogs I will still do anything I can to get my espresso shot at any time possible!!!!!!!! I <3 my Bambino

Do not buy
After a year of use it stopped working and it is out of warranty too. In the trash it goes never again a Breville espresso.

Stopped Working After Just 5 Months
I purchased the Breville Bambino five months ago, and it has already stopped powering on—completely unresponsive. Having used various coffee machines over the years, this has been the most unreliable by far. I followed all the steps on Breville’s website to submit a support ticket and uploaded the required documentation, but received no reply. Their live chat feature consistently shows as "offline," and the website itself is essentially non-functional. If you're considering buying this model—or even one of Breville’s higher-end machines—proceed with caution. Good luck.

Filter basket and portafilter
The filter baskets are hard to remove from the portafilter. Have to use tool like screwdriver or butter knife to dislodge. But it does make a fine espresso.

Love our new Bambino!
We are very happy with our new Breville Bambino! We had a Breville Infuser previously and had a good experience with the Breville company. We find the Bambino is really easy to use and it makes consistently delicious coffee. The milk steamer is very efficient as well.
