Great close shave

My husband loves it! He has sensitive skin and this shaver is very skin friendly. Battery lasts forever. Easy to clean, except the clean cycle is loud. Gives a great close shave.

Improvement over the earlier great model

Today I just realized that my "new" Braun 7 shaver is actually... exactly 3 years old. Besides few barely visible scratches it does not show though. And this is what made me to write this short review. I owned an earlier model quite some time ago. It was great but required foil/blade replacement every 12-18 months, and after 6 years of use the battery started to die very quickly. The new one still looks and works like new after 3 years. That is with everyday use and occasional charging when I feel like it needs cleaning (once a month? twice? who knows). Like any electric shaver it probably does not shave as close as a razor, but does its job much faster and you don't have to deal with all this water and foam mess. Very comfortable to hold and use, although the trimmer is located awkwardly and therefore completely useless, but trimmer is the only complaint, and I don't really need it anyway. It is nearly perfect shaver, though I can't compare it with other brands. Haven't owned anything but Braun in the last 20 years/

good product but i am quite disappointed

it is ok for the cheeks but results for the neck are not good. I have to shave many times using foam and still, there is hair not removed and I need to use the razor. I tried to contact the customer service but no response. I was so excited but now I am disappointed.

Simply Amazing experience

A lot of these reviews are very general and not helpful so for anyone thinking of purchasing a Braun 7 series, my suggestion is to go for it. I spend half the time shaving with the Braun 7series and with a smoother shave than using a razor. I have sensitive skin and was desperate for a solution and Braun is the answer. The dry shave didn’t work best for me so I decided to try the wet shave and my face feel soft and smooth as if I never had a beard. I am still in shock with the great results.

It's a great shaver; however warranty??

Overall a great shaver. Cleaning/recharge station is very efficient at keeping the shaver in top operating condition and sanitized. However, warranty service is an issue. My shaver developed an operating problem with the shaver head. I sent it to a Braun authorized service vendor with the appropriate documentation. After it arrived, I was informed the warranty would not be honored. So I was out the cost of having a defective product returned to me and I had to pay the shipping cost.

Fantastic Shave

I purchased the 7899cc a week ago. I get the best shave I have ever had., very close(smooth) with no irritation. All my life I had used a Norelco shaver and never really been happy with the results. When it came time to replace the blades I decided to try the Braun. Best shaver decision I ever made. My only minor complaint is that when you use the clean and charge station it always charges, you can’t turn that part off.

Braun Series 7 7899cc Men's

Took a a very short time on how to really get the best out of this razor, it the best razor that I have ever used beats,any other Electric Razor i have used and the old 3 blade razor that I have been using for years to try and get a clean shave.. I use the Cleaning and Charging Station once a week and by blowing the hair out of the razor after every use has resulted in the cleaning solution keeping clean for over 6 months with out getting dirty. After using the Cleaning station if feels like a new razor. The only problem that this a rather pricey item in South Africa. I recommend this razor over ant other Electric Razor that I have used before.
