Weekender Standout

I purchased the Duxbury Weekender along with the Charmayne train/accessory case. I adore them both. Surprisingly you can pack a lot in the weekender if you military fold (roll instead of fold) your items. It is chic and sophisticated without trying to be so. It is a real standout. Thank you again Brahmin for making me feel and look good.

Disappointed in the Color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've wanted a 'Weekender' forever, and finally decided to order one. While the bag is 'Brahmin beautiful', I am so disappointed with the color. In the website photos, the Merlot color looks like it is, or should be, a deep, luxurious burgundy color. In the middle, it is. But, the outer +-1/3 of each end of the bag - the color fades, strays into Pepto-Bismo pink. If Pepto-Bismo pink is your thing - yo will probably love the bag. But if you are expecting a deep maroon or burgundy color - you will probably we disappointed.

I purchased the Duxbury Weekender in Merlot Ombre Melbourne. The bag is very sturdy and well constructed . The color is beautiful. I will order another Duxbury Weekender in another color.
