We bought this blender because we are making lots of smoothies and my old blender wasn’t doing a great job. This blender is amazing and makes great smoothies, pancake batter and bread batter. Great buy!

Does what I need
I bought this to powder dehydrated liver sheets. I ground up about 170 pounds worth of liver in three days and it never had a hitch. I used the regular canister. Sometimes our smoothies have a couple chunks left at the end, but I just turn it back on for a bit. I mainly bought it for the liver so I still give it 5 stars.

somewhat disappointed
had high hopes. the instruction booklet leaves a lot to be desired. Still trying to figure out how to use it properly. It's nice to say "go online" but I don't have time to run to my computer & power it up everytime i need help.

The new love of my (kitchen) life!
I've recently become healthier and am making smoothies every day, when my old blender (it was 4 months old) began to leak (it was one of the ones you screw on upside down) I decided to blow my budget and get a really good blender. After doing my homework I choose this Blendtec and am soooooooooo happy that I did. I have now had this blender for about 6 weeks and it can do so many things, I have used it to make cookies, soups, dips etc, there is a recipe for dog biscuits in the accompanying book that my dog loves. I truly feel that there is a good chance that this product will still be in good working order long after I am not! I love the super long warranty as it shows the manufacturers have confidence in their own product and I was also swayed towards this product as it, and it's components are made entirely in America, I am not American but do appreciate a company which is creating jobs at home rather than using cheaper labour and plastic parts to maximise their profits at the expense of the consumer who have to then go out and buy the same type of thing again and again. I would recommend this product without any hesitation, yes it is expensive and you can get cheaper blenders but in this case you truly do get what you pay for and I believe that purchasing this blender once will prove to cost you less over time as it will not need to be replaced every few years. (ps cleaning this thing is ridiculously easy!)

This Machine is Awesome
I bought this monster of a blender over a month ago. Although I am still exploring lots of possibilities from this machine, it is already transforming my diet and eating style. Other members of the family are not left out. To me, I see it as a health investment. As I have become a fan, I am already helping to spread the good news to my friends. The machine has lots of capabilities, so still learning, but so far so great!
