Great product with good lighting and lifespan

Overall great product. The 3 modes work great and if using high lights(both white lots) for obvious reason could kill battery life quick but great battery length o really especially with red lighting length. Would definitely recommend

Batteries in both lamps I purchased failed and are unable to be recharged.

This is a quick review for the original, 110 lumen ReVolt, which is I believe the picture on which I clicked to write the review. At the time of purchase way back like 7 years ago, 110 lumens was a nice blast of light for a camp headlamp and in-bounds dawn patrol exercise laps at the ski area when you're not looking to go 100% send on the way back down. The real reason though that the ReVolt is such a great product is that it is rechargeable via a USB cable, so it can even be charged in the old Land Cruiser via the cigarette lighter USB charger adapter. This is so great for those drives to the ski area, the drive out of town for whatever camping, at the crag or in the backcountry, the light can be topped off on power on the way to its next use! I hate disposable batteries as much as pretty much every other single use item out there, so having a rechargeable headlamp that is small and packable is really great. Of course I do carry a set of disposable batteries as back up in my pack, however in all the years I have never used the extra batteries. I guess I should go bigger, haha. The only issues I've had with the ReVolt is that occaisionally the CPU gets a little confused about whether the batteries are charged or not, and even after a charge will show the red color. To solve this, I take all the batteries out and rearrange them and then turn the light back on, and voila, the CPU for battery life no longer blinks red. I'm planning to upgrade to the 250 lumen version of the ReVolt prior to ski season as others with whom I ski have purchased way brighter, bigger headlamps they use for mountain biking in the dark and bring those to the hill for skiing, and my 110 lumens now feels inadequate on many levels. It will be nice to go to 350 lumens and this will likely solve my lighting concerns for those early morning or late evening exercise lap descents. Thanks for making a compact, powerful, more sustainable headlamp that doesn't buy into the over sized, detached battery set ups that so many are now purchasing. For the purist who wants a lightweight product on their head that can do the job around camp or for shorter multi-hour outings, the ReVolt is a great product.

Great light!

Have had many headlamps. Many are junk, most are decent, and every now and then, you come across a good model. This is one of those. Simple design, great features, rugged. It just works. Ive run this lamp pretty hard for over a year and it is still going strong. I will be buying a couple more before they go changing the model.

Best headlamp on the market.

I have at least 3 of this headlamp. For years it has always beeny go to in the dark. Across the board from skiing, camping, hiking, boating, car work, just to name a few. This headlamp is bright, small, and reliable. It has yet to let me down.

Awesome headlamp!

I like the fact that this is rechargeable, that makes it super nice. Or that you can use regular batteries as well, in case you're out and don't have access to a way to recharge it. Headlamp is also nice and bright, and not super heavy!

Durability

I bought this three years ago for working as a field instructor. Whether working in the hills at night, or my own camping and hunting escapades, this head lamp has been everything and more. The rechargeable batteries are the same that came with lamp, and still hold a charge for a little over 8 days of frequent use. The battery continues to hold strong, during lower temperatures of 30 degrees, as well as snow and rainstorms. Buttons and functionality still work flawless.

Terrible - battery fails within a year

Battery failed to charge within a year, had it replaced under warranty, now the second one is not working either. Rubbish product, look elsewhere
