Pricey

A little overkill on the price, but it’s a simple toaster and hoping Black and Decker brand will last.

Uneven toasting

Setting the toasting temperature at 4 as the instructions recommend, it toasted only one side of bread. Tried reversing the bread so other side would get toasted, it ended up solid black on the toasted side. Tried different numbers on the knob but always got varying degrees of patchy toasting on one side or the other. Returning this product as it works worse than my old toaster. Would not recommend this brand.

The toaster works really well in that it toasts the bread food to any temperature you want.

New toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this unit a month ago, and although it toasts fine, it's very difficult to set the toast level....It needs colorful settings that would make it easier to use.
