I did buy this product again, we have two.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have two of these 3418 vacuums... one for the upper level of the house, one for the lower level. This is a good product but there are a couple of issues. First when compared to our older 2817 vacuum, the hose is too short even though this is a Lift Off type vacuum. It makes it difficult to use at short distances from the machine without the vacuum turning over unless you lift it off, which is not always convenient for quick clean-up. Next the Pivot Turbo Brush does not clean the steps or furniture anywhere near as well as the older Turbo Eraser type attachment. Also the Pivot Brush does not work well at angles...it needs to be used flat to the carpet. We may have to consider buying a new Turbo Eraser attachment if they are still available.

Do Not Buy For Thicker Carpets
Bought this for my wife for Christmas 2024. Bought the entire matching line-up for her as a great surprise, carpet steam cleaner, spot steam cleaner, multi surface steam cleaner and vacuum. To our surprise, this vacuum does not work on thicker rugs and def not on shag rugs. Our older model from 10yrs ago worked great on all areas. Never an issue. Thought the same would be true for this model. Well I was wrong! I don't know if it had a brush on/off switch, would correct the problem but we can't vacuum for more than 15 seconds before the leds flash and the brush stops on our area rug. Nothing is stuck on the roller. It just can't handle thick area rugs/ carpets. Very disappointed as we like the more mature color way and how the black and rose champagne stands out over a Joker inspired color scheme.

Great Gift!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this as a Christmas gift for my dad to replace his old Bissel. I didn't know you could fall in love with a vacuum but I was proven wrong. We have four cats and this has cleaned better than any other vacuum we've ever had. We did have a minor issue where we were sent the wrong product and the customer service helped me within seconds on Christmas Day! Great product, great company. #sweepstakes

Poor quality, not worth the frustration
I owned a previous year model and only replaced it because a part broke and it would stand on its own. I replaced it with the upgraded version of what I had (with lift off feature being new) because the old one worked so well. This one is sub par. The wheels squeak, the handle pops when you pull the unit towards you, the plug fits loose in all outlets (constantly unplugs), and the suction is terrible. My animals aren't shedding less, the unit picks up half the hair. Wish I hadn't thrown out the packaging in my excitement, is return it- instead this month old unit getting donated and I'm switching brands.

Poor design and suction.
The crevice tool is awkward to use since you need to use the entire hose extension as well. The pickup wasn't great and the floor sense feature is pretty much useless.

Stopped working after 3 minutes
Brand new vacuum that is replacing a 5 YEAR old Samsung battery vacuum that never gave me any issues. I decided to back to corded since battery vacuums just cant match the the power of a corded vacuum. First ever Bissell product i have owned. I used it for the first time and was immediately impressed. I moved to the next room and paused for a minute to move some furniture i wanted to get under. The brush stopped spinning as it was supposed to when i stood the vacuum up. When i went to vacuum again, the brush would not spin. I unplugged it and back in but still nothing. Did everything on the support page, nothing. Checked for obstructions, nothing. Now I have to wait for a new foot to be shipped to me which can take up to 12 days!!! Absolutely unbelievable!
