Love this bag

I bought this bag to use as a ski boot bag. I use it when I travel to ski and check it in at the airport. It holds my ski boots, helmet, goggles, mittens, ski socks, and small ski accessories with ease. It's very light weight and has held up well to being checked. The spinner wheels make it easy for me to maneuver through the airport. I use one hand for this bag and one for my spinner carry-on that holds my clothing. I place my skis on top of my carry-on and I'm good to go. It would work as a light weight carry-on. Being able to open the top and access the interior while it's standing it great. It also opens more like a normal piece of luggage, and so is very versatile.

Great for storing, it is NOT 22 inches though

This bag is just okay. Perfect for packing for a weekend trip on the boat or on the RV because when empty, it folds down to almost nothing. However, it is NOT the 22 inches it claims to be. Fully packed, from floor to top, it's 19 inches, even counting the handles on top can't make it to 22 inches. Take into consideration the 4 inches taken up by the wheels and their stowage area (all the area below that horizontal black line you see at the bottom), you're talking 15 inches of packable space. It also tapers towards the top so it's not a full 10 inches deep at the top. You could honestly do about the same amount of packing in a large school backpack. It's also a tad awkward to pull through the airport. The handles are flimsy, like a duffle bag, so trying to drag it behind you like a true carry-on bag leads to part of the fabric dragging on the floor. They are also slightly too short to pull the bag alongside you like you can with most spinner suitcases. Best I've come up with, us the shoulder strap to pull it alongside you. It's awkward, but gets it done. If you're not rushing through an airport, it's fine. That said, it does pack down very nicely for storage. Could easily slide into the nightstand drawer in a hotel or stateroom. It's great for a weekend trip but I wouldn't want to rush through the airport with it. It's very awkward. That said, I've ordered the 27 inch one, hoping that it's slightly shorter and can pass for a carry-on bag. I do a lot of sailing and love that this folds down to nothing.

good idea but not practical

I loved the idea of these bags, but it is very hard to roll them since they have short handle when I tried it at home, can't imagine running in airports with them.
