Mother of the Groom Dress

Before my son's wedding, I shopped online for a mother of the groom dress. After many returns, I found this perfect one. At 5’11”, it's long enough without heels. It fits comfortably, isn't clingy, and has an attached crepe cape that drapes lovely. The brocade and sequins add a perfect touch. I'm excited to wear it in early spring.

Flattering

5'5", 157 lbs, size 12 fits perfectly (but is long, even with 2" heels, so will need to be hemmed). The front gathering is very flattering (camoflages a slight tummy). Gold brocade is pretty front and back & the attached cape covers my upper arms but doesn't look too matronly. The brocade is also placed to pretty well cover bra straps (altho I will still probably wear a strapless bra).
