Straps not long enough!

This seemed like good leather and was well-made, and the toe strap was soft and flexible (a rarity), BUT the proportions of the ankle strap contraption are just... wrong. The ankle strap was in no way long enough to wrap around and actually buckle--and I have skinny ankles. I had to fight to get it to close on the last hole. But it was so tight I couldn't even take a step. And the strap was made from multiple pieces of varying thicknesses, which, for some reason join right at the back of the achilles area, so if, by some miracle you can actually fasten the strap, that joint would rub, and looks uneven. It's like it was designed based on measurements from a fake foot.
