Perfect introduction to praying for little ones

I received this book free from Tommy Nelson in exchange for my honest review. I am a fan of Max Lucado’s book – “The Great House of God” which breaks down the Lord’s Prayer for adults, helps teach basic prayer concepts, and I was excited to receive this book and see how I could work with my 4 year old to develop her prayer life with Jesus. This book did not disappoint! I loved the author’s note in the beginning to parents encouraging them to pray with their littles – which I personally found helpful as I often feel my prayer life lacks depth and is inadequate. This book was hard for my youngster to sit and read through in one sitting – but to use it as a guide; reading a page in the morning; or a page before rest time; or at bedtime is perfect! Some of the prayers rhyme and some when she gets a little older I would love to have us try to memorize. The prayers address things children can relate to and gives them tools for building a vocabulary of faith. The illustrations are beautiful as well. Overall, I highly recommend this as book for children ages 0 – 7.

Sweet Children's Christian Book

This is a sweet book that I won on a giveaway. l look forward to reading this to the great-grandkids as they learn and grow and begin to understand prayers. The pictures are all so well done. Children will love to see the pictures and hear the peaceful words that are written on the pages and based on various scriptures.
