Amazing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this mattress as a product tester, and couldn't be any happier. This mattress is amazing for side sleepers like myself. Their is just enough firmness, that I don't wake up with aches and pains. My next mattress purchases will definitely be Beautyrest. Thank you so much!

Deep, deep regret
I got the C-class plush pillow top and it is not at all plush. I thought I was buying a high-end, luxury, plush pillow top. Not so. I have been in denial and really tried, but it's killing me. I have shoulder, neck and hip pain from laying on my side on this horrible mattress. It's truly terrible. I deeply, deeply regret paying this much for this mattress. If you like a soft pillow top, look elsewhere. This is NOT it. It's been less than a year and it's already developed a crater where I sleep. It sickens me to think that I'll probably need to get rid of it and buy something else.

Most comfortable
My husband likes a softer mattress and I like a firm mattress. We went with the Black C Pillow Top and it’s the perfect compromise. He gets his soft pillow top and I get my firm support. He’s in the normal body weight range and I’m in the heavy overweight range. So it really is an amazing mattress to accommodate both of us. We had it shipped from another retailer so when it arrived it was extremely cold and harder than a rock. Thankfully after two days it was completely thawed out and comfortable.

Black C Class Plush Pillow Top "Tops"
Both my wife and I have problems with our back. It was so important to find the right mattress that would help us get a good night sleep without waking in the morning like we were in a train wreck. Seeing some of the reviews on the Beauty Rest Black C Class Plus Pillow Top had us apprehensive. We realized that each person has particular problems, different weight class and so forth which might explain the disparity in perspective reflected in the reviews. According to the 5 star reviews this is the best mattress you can buy and the flip side 1 star clams it's Junk. We decided to take a chance and go to the showroom and test it out live. Our research listed a Class K which was ultra plush and more expensive. No Matter, we tried it at the store...too soft for us. The C Class Pillow top was firm but gave way to comfort. We bought Two XLTwins and connected together two adjustable bases to lift head and legs although separate they make up together as a King size bed. We are sleeping like babies that had a full size meal and a full day of running around. Maybe it's just us or maybe it's others that have different needs...but all I can say with this long story is; "it's the best mattress we have ever slept on". I am 190lbs 6'0" tall my wife 135lbs 5'7" tall to give some perspective to slack and support of this mattress. All we both can say is....."TOPS"

Amazing bed.
I have been sleeping on this mattress for almost two months now and it has been life changing. I have had many different mattresses in my life, but never owned a Beauty Rest mattress up until recently. I got the Cali King and it has been great. It is an amazing size for me and my husband (and our pooches that love to sleep with us). I love that it is a black bed, I just think it gives it so much better of a look being black. The mattress is so comfortable. I don't like an overly firm bed, I like it to have some plush/comfort to it and this mattress is it. It is soft to sleep on, I wake up feeling so refreshed, and my back doesn't hurt in the mornings. Very pleased with this mattress.

Disappointing
We were in love the mattress was so comfortable like sleeping on a cloud, but it has some major downfalls. Dont expect to cuddle because it creates a big poof divide in the middle once you lay down and after only 2.5 years my husbands side completely gave out and hed roll right onto the floor. My side held out for another year before it started to sag. The only reason we kept it that long was because my husband had a stroke and couldnt sleep on his side he had to sleep sitting up. Otherwise we would have had to replace it after 2.5 years. There was noway he couldve slept on his side once it gave out. We didnt bother with the warranty. Got a bed in a box mattress for 300 that doesnt poof and was extremely cheaper and just as comfortable. Its not worth the amount of money you spend on it after around 2 years unfortunately.

Cures “old age”
We purchased the queen Beautyrest Black Medium Plush Pillowtop. We’ve slept on it for a month and my chronic hip and lower back pains have all but disappeared! All I could think of when deciding in the store was that mattresses are as expensive as a good used car these days. After a month of sleeping on ours, my attitude has changed to one of how we should have done this long before now. Thank you Beautyrest!
