It sounds like your blade may be holding onto moisture or residue, which can occasionally happen if it’s not fully cleaned and dried after each use. We want to help you get the most out of your Beast, and we’ve found the following cleaning tips to be especially helpful for keeping your accessories fresh and functioning at their best: 1. Dishwasher safe – All parts (except for the base) are top-rack dishwasher safe for a deeper clean. We recommend running your blade through the dishwasher at least once a week. 2. Quick clean cycle – Once a week, blend ⅔ water with a few drops of dish soap and run it for a full minute. 3. Deep clean – Once a month, soak and clean the vessel and blade with a 50/50 vinegar and water solution. 4. Drying tip – Store your Performance Blade pin-side down between uses to allow any water to fully drain and dry out. 5. Brush clean – We strongly recommend scrubbing with a brush after each use, especially around the blade. Our Beast Cleaning Brush includes a detailing tool specifically designed to reach those tough-to-clean spots. 6. Filling the vessel – We recommend filling the vessel slightly less when blending protein powders to allow room for expansion. Our Blending Vessel was designed with 12 ribs to increase turbulence and improve blending efficiency, helping to break down ingredients during the blend cycle. Additionally, we offer a Vessel Spatula to help you get every last drop out of your blend! Break it down first – If ingredients are getting stuck, try pulsing 5-7 times before running a full cycle. 2. Perfect the liquid ratio – Ensure at least one-third of your blend consists of liquid to help ingredients flow smoothly. 3. Dishwasher-safe parts – All components except the base are top-rack dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. 4. Deep cleaning tip – Blend warm water with a few drops of dish soap for one minute to clean the blade area effortlessly. 5. Chia pudding & thicker blends – Use short pulses rather than a full blend cycle to maintain the perfect consistency. We understand that cleaning can sometimes be a challenge. To make it easier, we recommend soaking the parts in warm, soapy water right after use and using the included cleaning brush to reach those tricky spots.
