These boots are great. I hiked the canyons for two weeks in these boots and they held up so well. They have great ankle support, they are for sure water resistant, I’m not 100% sure about waterproof, but I’m sure you could use them in water as well and be fine.

Pretty good boot
We did a little hiking down in the smoky mountains. My wife and daughter said that the boots held up really well and looked forward to using them more often when hiking.

Not happy with purchase
The boots run small, I ordered half number more than my usual size and the still don’t fit and I was not given option to return them.

Shoe experience
This shoes needs a thumb pull on back. This shoe gets leaves inside the shoe when walking with heavy amounts of leaves and branches. This shoe may not be completely waterproof just the front and back. Otherwise, fits like a typical walking or dated running shoe. I can find pleasure wearing shoe overall however may wear out quickly.

True to size! Comfortable.
True to size which was a relief after purchasing a sandal (too big) and the UUG style boot (too small). Very comfortable and seem to be of good quality. I've only worn them a few times.
