Poor Driver

I bought this bag after being a long time admirer of B&R style and craftsmanship. The style part of the bag is excellent. The interior of the bag is exactly what I was looking for and the fit and finish is perfect. Unfortunately, the “roller” part of the bag is so miserable I wonder how often I’ll even use this bag. It doesn’t roll without resistance at any angle or direction and just when you think you may have it right a wheel spins out from under me and the entire bag screeches to a halt. Speaking of screeching, the plastic handle doesn’t seem to be made with the bag in mind, as it started creaking after 10 minutes of use. It really is embarrassing to have spent this much on a bag that gives me this much trouble. Looking back on it, I wish I went with the two wheel version, I suspect that would be better. Unfortunately, I missed out on the window when I went out on a trip that I purchased this bag before (I left the bag behind).

A luggage for life

I had been eyeing this luggage for 2 years and finally got it. I should have gotten it sooner. It glides on airport surfaces, it fits everything and more! The expandable feature is amazing. The only downside is the loop strap on the top, that it comes off very easily when not using it so you can lose it suddenly. This is the only downside for me.

Serious Investment for Serious Travelers

I frequently travel abroad for work, and I find that this combination of a 22" carry-on spinner and the matching large travel backpack indispensable. Together, they provide the equivalent capacity of a 27" checked suitcase. The quality of the 22" spinner is exceptional, and its compression feature is a significant advantage. I've found no issue with the wheels that are smooth and responsive. Additionally, the lifetime warranty distinguishes it from competitors such as Tumi. Upon arrival, the travel backpack functions as my portable office, containing all my essential work items. The only caveat is that as airlines continue to tighten their space and weight restrictions, you may occasionally face challenging ticket attendants, especially with smaller carriers. I've had my set for three years, and have absolutely no regrets.

Amazing wheels

I work for a US major airline and I’m mostly lugging my bag on the city roads to subway stations, buses, airport concourses and tiny aisles. On top of Essential 22”, I put a heavy lunch bag filled with meals for 3-4 days. I don’t pack a lot in my bag but even with a heavy lunch bag on top, it still stays on its course and moves so smoothly. I was skeptical about the weight of the bag but it’s barely noticeable and because of its sturdy body, it can hold my lunch bag and I don’t feel the need to stabilize or reposition. Thank you bf for this amazing gift!

I love this new bag.

I love this new bag. It is made very well, I fits in the overhead compartment of airplanes. When the overhead compartment is smaller on smaller airplanes, this bag will compact without opening the bag. It compacts at various sizes - unlike other bags that are either totally expanded or not. The design and layout is just what I need for a weekend or week away!

Nice bag. Light. Looks really nice. One of the wheels already makes a lot of noise when on certain floors. Decently noisy bag compared to the bags I've used in the part 20 years. It sounds cheap on hard floors when it rolls.
