NEW REVIEW!😉💋 Just finished People In Glass Houses by Jayne Castle( Jayne Ann Krentz) and it was another fabulous book in her Harmony series!!! I'm not much of a alien theme romance reader but this series has always been amazing! It has the whole ancient alien theme with some really great Paranormal themes and between awesome characters and chilling atmospheric details and storylines it makes for a very entertaining read. In this new harmony tale we meet Joshua Knight a high talent who's ability to navigate the underworld of the ancient aliens kept him busy.He has never lost a team, until recently! Then theirs Molly Griffin a tripe talent that can tune crystals and hides a family secret. People with her talent are considered the boggiemen and dangerous and unstable. When her sister disappears on one of Joshua's expeditions she'll have to hunt him down at his fun house mansion full of mirrors that have killed anyone who dared live their and where Joshua went after being labeled delusional and paranoid. He can't remember what happened in the alien tunnels but he's pretty sure his team is still down their.Together him and Molly will work at not only finding her sister and the rest of the team, but who was behind their disappearance and the murder at Molly's shop. And yes their is a new dust bunny Newton! And he's cute as hell! The dust bunnies make this series with their different personalities and antics and Newton's is his little mirror that he found in the seance room and his love of Zing chips!!! And like all dust bunnies before him he is protective, loving, sweet and gets into trouble especially when he invites over 25 of his buddies over for a party!! I've read every book in this series and I can't get enough!! Can't wait for more tales and new dust bunnies! Jayne said Molly's sister Leona's book is coming next! Until next time luv's

Love this series
I love the novels by Jayne Castle set in the futuristic world of Harmony. This is #16 is the series and they never get old. An expedition that goes awry. The navigator who escapes. A sister who is lost in the underground. Fabulous parts of this story. The brilliance of the writing and the nuance about a world that is unfamiliar to us, shoots this book into my 'I'll re-read for sure' pile. I've read this series from #1 and will continue reading these. Always an interesting book!

Another hit
I have grown tired of the boring tropes of most romance and fantasy books. Jane Castle proves the exception once again. An exciting and engaging story with interesting characters AND a dust bunny. (I really enjoy the dustbunny characters.) Castle has her world solidly built and continues to move through it seemlessly.

Another hit by Krentz!
This is the 10th in the Harmony series. If you haven’t read any of this series then you are missing a ton of wit, romance, and a dash of science fiction/fantasy. We meet Molly and her sister, Leona, who were raised in an orphanage but later adopted by two private detectives. As they get older, they find out that they were genetically engineered and developed special psych talents. When Leona goes missing on an expedition that is exploring the underworld, Molly sets out to find her. Her first step was to find Joshua Knight, the leader of this expedition, who left the underworld slightly damaged. Molly believed that Joshua could help her find Leona and the rest of the team if she helped him with his dreams. Read to find out if Joshua was able to help Molly find his lost team, is romance in the air between them both, who if anyone wanted the take this team and why? I highly recommend this book and hope that you enjoy your time in the Harmony World. Thank you to Netgalley and Berkley for providing an advanced reader’s copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Dust bunnies are always welcome
Any visit to Harmony and the dust bunnies is a welcome one but I felt like this installment didn’t quite get off the ground. I kept waiting for the heart of the story...the danger, the romance, the adventure and it never happened. The main characters, Molly and Joshua, quickly achieved their objective, rescue the lost expedition and then the rest was mostly filler with a side of dust bunnies. While it set up the next book in the series I wish there had just been a little more...Jayne Ann in this one.

Put a smile on your face and a chill up your spine
Oh chortle, chortle!! Jayne Castle's newest book is here at last. You can always count on a spooky, rollicking good read with Jayne. Several generations have passed since the Curtain closed, isolating Planet Harmony from Planet Earth. Along with paranormal abilities, Harmony customs and language have evolved. Some expressions are as maddening as ever, while others are half-forgotten: 'Joshua looked at her from the hallway. "Told you so," he said.' 'Molly raised her free hand, folded three fingers down and extended the middle digit.' 'Joshua watched, curious. "Does that gesture have some particular significance?"' '"One of my moms told me it was an Old World tradition. It conveys profound respect and admiration."' ... '"Why do I get the impression that particular Old World gesture does not actually convey respect and admiration?" Joshua said.' '"Probably because you are psychic."' Other expressions have acquired new meaning: In Harmony-speak, "ghost" is a nickname for "Unstable Dissonance Energy Manifestation," the shimmering green clouds that zap unwary visitors to underground Alien "catacombs." These "ghosts" were never alive, and the term "catacomb" has nothing to do with burial. At least, so the colonists believed. Then Molly uncovered a message from a woman who died in Joshua's house of mirrors: "This house is a portal to an Alien crypt in the Underworld. But the souls that are buried there are not truly dead.... "You must find a way to lock the crypt. If the Sleepers escape this house, they will unleash the great power of their weapons upon we who have made Harmony our home." Are Alien Sleepers a genuine threat, or just a madwoman's dying delusion? 'People in Glass Houses' has all you could wish for in a good yarn: a lost expedition to rescue, a love to discover, mysteries to solve, and just maybe a planet to save. An adorable dust bunny helps you find fun on the adventure. Little Newton, you are my hero!

A fun adventure!
Molly Griffin’s sister, Leona, has gone missing from the underground Hollister Expedition and Molly’s determined to find her. When she discovers the location of Joshua Knight, the navigator of the lost expedition she heads out to find him and piece together what happened and how to rescue her sister. However, Joshua has no memory of what happened. People in Glass Houses takes place in Jayne Castle’s fun, futuristic world of Harmony. People came from Earth after interstellar travel opened up, and those who colonized ended up with paranormal abilities awakened by the planet’s energy. Both Joshua and Molly have paranormal abilities they use to help solve the mystery and end up getting close and of course falling for each other. This is a low angst romance, with the majority of the conflict coming from the mystery and danger they encounter trying to look for Leona. I think my favorite part of the story is Newton, the dust bunny! He could go from full on “adorable mode” to “sleeked out” and ready for a fight on a dime! This was a fun combination of romance, humor, sci-fi with paranormal elements mixed in. The story is part of a larger series, but the story works well on its own and Ms. Castle does a nice job introducing and explaining the world of Harmony in the prologue. I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy courtesy of Berkley. My thoughts and opinions are my own.

Another great Harmony book
I have been an avid reader of books by Janye Ann Krentz/Amanda Quick/Jayne Castle for years. The books on that are on Harmony are some of my favorite, especially meeting the dust bunnies. It was so good that I could not put it down. Joshua and Molly keep friend-zoning each other when they are so perfect together. I loved meeting Newton, the Clever Dust Bunny, who has an obsession with Zing Chips at the beginning of the book and seeing him become Molly's companion. It's fun seeing characters from previous books and meeting characters who will be in future books. I look forward to the next book in the series.
