Like Wild Child, but set at a week long vacation

Beach Cute follows three girls who have never met before but meet up on a trip after deciding to solo travel to a private resort. The book follows each of the girls’ perspective as they handle issues such as university, breakups, pressures from choosing a career and more. The three bond on their trip and their friendship develops. Beach Cute mostly reminded me of Wild Child but set on a week vacation with slightly older girls instead of at a boarding school with younger high schoolers. The book is pretty fun with a decent amount of drama that sometimes became too much for me. There were a couple of times I got annoyed with the one girl’s problems with her ex, or with how frequently they were destroying hotel property and then getting an attitude. Overall, the book was fun with friendship at the focus and a slight romantic relationship. It’s pretty tame with infrequent cussing, light romance, and minimal use of alcohol. I received an advance copy of the book from the publisher through Netgalley.
