Different material from past purchase

I bought 2 pairs of these sandals a couple of years ago. They were so comfortable; I wanted to get 2 more. Unfortunately, these new sandals have to be returned. The top of my toe hurt immediately. No give, no stretch as you take a step. Why would Baretraps change a great product?

they are hot causing your feet to sweat

This is a very nice sandal. They run small. My first purchase was a 9, but returned for a 9.5. The fit is much better with room for my heel to rest comfortably. Now that the weather in NYC is hotter than expected, I wore them several times, they are very comfortable, nice arch support but they are very hot. My feet are sweating from the material the inside cushion is made of. Even wearing them around the house is the same effect. I do like them but can’t return since I purchased them earlier in April. Socks are not even an alternative to wear since it’s a toe slide in. I have reservations now cause of creating a foot fungus I’m showing signs of Nice sandals but wear at your own discretion around the house first.

Baretrap sandals are comfort and fashion. Love

So comfortable and size is perfect. Lots of support and cushion . The toe strap is comfortable as well. I walk all day in these Baretrap sandals. They don’t disappoint. They’re like marshmallows hugging my feet.

material cuts into toe

My favorite, walk everywhere, sandals are this same style that I purchased years ago in taupe. I was so happy when I thought I found the same pair in black. Turns out these are a completely different shoe and fit. My other pair seems to have arch support that this pair does not. More critically- the material in the toe strap (nylon ribbon) cuts into my toe so badly it almost bled after an hour of wear. The previous pair had a cotton type of ribbon blended with what seemed like neoprene. This polyester ribbon doesn’t give or loosen. I would send them back but I was so convinced they were the same shoe I wore them outside.
