Other occasion to buy:I bought this for my granddaughter. She is goi g to Love this doll. She looks like her with long black hair & beautiful smile & face. It’s hard to find Asian/Hispanic looking dolls. She has a lot of blonde or brown haired Barbie dolls but this is special.

Awesome Holiday Collection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 2023 Holiday Barbie comes in a nice festive display box. This is the 35th anniversary series and Mattel did not disappoint. The doll is full of detail and comes with painted nails and the signature make up that beautifies these Barbie dolls. The doll comes with beautiful golden statement earrings and a wrist cuff as well a a beautiful sparkly tulle overlay with a nice starry design. The golden satin dress is elegant and classy, and her shawl is pleated which gives the doll an even more classy appearance. This doll comes with a plastic base and a plastic stand but this one is a bit different from others, instead of the stand holding the doll from the waist are it actually hold it from the legs which gives it a much better stand and hides the stand under the dress. If there’s any negative thing about this toy it would be the certificate of authenticity, it is printed on a plain piece of paper making it feel cheap, a nice piece of cardstock would make this certificate feel more like an actual collectible piece. Also if you dislike glitter these sparkly stars will leave you a bit sparkly if you come in contact with the doll. Overall a beautiful piece with a nice festive box to display your doll as a collectible. I highly recommend this product for adult collectors as well as kids alike!

Holiday Barbie Sparkles but she does not bend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was blown away by how beautiful this little Christmas Holiday Barbie was. She loved that she had long brown hair and found that her yellow dress resembled Belle. My daughter struggled with getting the little stand to hold her new Barbie and I found it kind of flimsy myself. Holiday Barbie does not have bendable elbows or knees so her range of motion is very limited. In my opinion, this lovely Holiday Barbie feels more like a collector doll that should be displayed especially with her formal gown and cape.
