Cut my daughters hand
My daughter received 2 of these for her birthday. She just cut her hand where the tail meets the torso of the Barbie. It moves with a hinge like back and forth motion and as she was holding it she pushed the top of the barbie out to straighten it out and it wedged skin on the palm of her hand in between the tail and torso and cut her.

Daughter loves it!

Barbie is Stunning as a Mermaid!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Barbie always receives high marks with us! This time she is a beautiful mermaid with gorgeous hair! She has become a "pool toy" at our house. :) The reason for 4 stars is she is only a mermaid- you can't dress her, repurpose her etc. - which is not a huge deal. I would probably recommend her more for younger Barbie enthusiasts for this reason.

Great Addition to our Barbie Collection!

I definitely recommend this toy for anyone with kids who love Barbie. It has been a wonderful addition to our collection!

Mermaid Fun in the Summer!

Fun toy for pool and bathtub
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old was super excited to open this. She said it’s beautiful and out it right on her desk to look at. She loves the pink hair and the crown. She hasn’t used it in the pool or tub yet. We have a few other Barbie mermaids and while she doesn’t play with them regularly she always goes back to them every now and again. The hold up well and I expect this one will too.

Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves how colorful the Barbie mermaid is! A crown is always a plus for her too. I really like how the tail moves so she can pretend that the mermaid is flipping her tail as she swims in the water.

Great pool toy, gets a lot of attention
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter had always been eyeing up the mermaid dolls other little girls would have at the pool, so now she finally has one! And this one having a tail that can be straight for swimming or be able to sit up right is a bonus. Also this one having pink hair was a big plus. I forgot to get a picture of Mermaid Barbie at the pool, but remembered when she helped us try our new bathbomb in the tub. Nice quality toy, as always from Barbie.
