I bought this pan two years ago and absolutely adore it. I use it for eggs almost every morning and also stir fry for one. It was a little tricky to get the seasoning going but totally worth it. It's the perfect shape and weight, and the company has confirmed that it is NOT aluminized. Pure carbon steel. Perfect.

Solid, good.

Perfect little carbon steel skillet
Ordered this online from Macy’s. Am very impressed with the extra care given in packaging. Because of the excellence in packaging and shipping, my skillet arrived in perfect condition. Skillet was very easy to clean off the factory protective coating followed by tempering/blueing the steel. This process is very important to enable proper seasoning with discard aromatic vegetables. The skillet already has a beautiful, non-stick (without chemicals) patina. The only missing accessory item: there wasn’t any silicone hot handle sleeve available for purchase. Good quality carbon steel.

Worth every penny
I own both 9 11 inch skillets carbon steel is fantastic they cook very well and when seasoned unbeatable.even if u goof up and a little rust appears any cleanser scrubby works.
The Egg Pan
This does exactly what I need it to do: make perfect fried or scrambled eggs. A little bit of coconut oil in the hot pan and I get perfect eggs every time, and it is so easy to clean after. I don’t have to worry about Teflon in my food, but the surface is practically nonstick as long as I keep taking care of it.

Great Pan
I love this pan. I started using Carbon Steel fry pans a few years ago after cooking with cast iron but wanted to try something lighter weight but with similar cooking properties. Once you learn how to season them right; carbon steel is so wonderful to cook with. Gotta love the look of a well seasoned pan. Frying eggs just slip all over the pan with no sticking. Salmon filets fry up so nice and crisp with no sticking. It is all I cook with now and this one is a great one.
My first time owning a carbon steel pan
It was not difficult seasoning the pan before use but it still wasn’t quite a nonstick pan. I do need to keep it slightly oiled before each use. But with it slightly oiled it is great for stir frying. Also I keep it separate from my stainless steel pans so no one “accidentally” decides to use it and throw it in the dish water. I have only used it for one week at this time.
