Seams in bra

The bra itself fits perfectly but the seam going down the breast is raised and shows in a shirt! Going to have to return.

The band is much less than 40 inches that I ordere

I am a 38 C, but I don’t like the bras tight or have to stretch them, so I ordered a 40 C. They run very small as when I laid it out, (without stretching it, it measured only 30”. Why is that?
