Poorly Sewn Glitter Bomb

Funny I should get an email request to review this dress as I am fixing the horrible sewing of the seam along the bust line. Also, the straps on the back look like they've been chewed by a dog. Ordered online because my daughter's size wasn't available at the store. It's a shame because it's a cute dress. Be prepared to have blue glitter all over your house for years if you order it. AND order it with enough time to exchange it if it shows up in the condition this one did. Took a star off of the review for the young woman at Macy's pickup counter with the nasty attitude who literally said one word ("Name?") to us during the entire transaction. I could understand if they were busy but there was only one other customer there being helped by another employee, and the only thing I had said was "Hi. We're here to pickup a dress." She should look for another job where she doesn't have to work w the public if she hates it that much.

great dress for all sizes.

Love this dress, great structure in the top to hold everything up, love the pockets and the iridescent fabric.

Breathtaking

The pic does not do justice to how beautiful it is. So many people commented on how gorgeous it is. The back is interesting and I think my child will be the total glam at prom. The color is blue and purple which you must see in person.

Stunning but…

Let me start with this was a gorgeous dress. It fit my daughter perfectly in the waist and even though it is mostly backless, it doesn’t pucker on the sides. My daughter is 5’5” and wore it with 2 inch heels and had to get it hemmed. The alteration cost was almost as much as the dress. I brought the rating down a bit for a couple of reasons. First, getting the dress on is a two-man operation. Second, I’m finding glitter everywhere. You should also keep in mind that the label says that this dress should not be hand washed or dry cleaned but professionally spot cleaned.

Prom princess

I bought 2 sizes for my daughter one was huge and the other fit loosely and was very long, so Once we had it altered it was perfect. It looked lovely displaying both colors of the fabric.

Gorgeous dress

Beautiful dress. Had to use double sided tape to hold it to skin on chest and in back. My daughter is 5’9”, 140lbs. Dress looked gorgeous on her, no alterations needed.

Zipper issues

Zipper doesn’t stay up in the back. Will need to add an eyelet. Hoping that will help! But beautiful dress!

Beautiful color and fit!

It was a beautiful color and well made. My daughter is tall so she got a size 11 and it fit perfectly. No alterations needed. It was comfortable for her to wear all night for Prom.
